Email Delivery, Opened, and Bounced Alerts

Compass notifies you when your email was Delivered, if it can detect it was Opened, and if your message Bounces.


You’ll also see in the title of messages sent within the Tasks & Communications tab, Compass uses an emoji so you can easily see:


- ? – Delivered

- ? – Opened (implies it was delivered)

- ⚠️ -- Delayed (may eventually bounce, but we’re retrying.. will either update to ‘bounced’ or ‘delivered’ eventually)

- ?- Bounced

 

You’ll see how this looks on the tasks & communications tab for any new emails sent.. note the extra ‘emailed to’ line if the task contained emailed info, and that the ‘title’ has the little ‘opened’ emoji for quick reference. 

 

2.. When you click to view that item, you see a bit more info..

 

 


And, if you click the little ‘+’ icon.. it shows you the history of the message.

 

 



If a message bounces, you'll see a 'bounced' status, and a new Task will be created for you called 'Email Bounced' so that you can follow up.
