Decommissioning Tracking/Marketing Phone Numbers

Modified on Wed, 13 Nov, 2024 at 12:02 PM

From time to time, it may become necessary to decommission/deactivate a phone number used for tracking/marketing purposes.

There are several considerations when deactivating a phone number.

These are:
1) Any existing use - is the number getting active customer calls?
2) Any planned or former use - is the number published, or about to be published, in print media, business cards, etc?
3) Any special circumstances.. is the number tied to certain business operations, or a premium number such as 555-555-TUBS?

If none of these conditions are true, it is MM IT's policy that we will happily decommission the number for you and disconnect it.

By disconnecting the number you agree that:
1) We can't reactivate it later.. when it's gone, it's gone
2) The number might take up to 14 days to deactivate
3) The number may show in your account for 1-2 billing cycles. This is normal while the number is removed from various internal processes and systems.

To disconnect a number, please email itsupport@miraclemethod.com with the subject line of 'DISCONNECTION REQUEST' and reference the specific tracking number you wish to remove.
