Labelling Estimates and Invoices

When creating multiple estimates, you may wish to label each estimate for ease of reference later.

Estimates can be labelled while creating, using the 'estimate title' field:




the estimate title, if entered, appears:
1) On the calendar popup which appears when you mouse-over a calendar item for a job using an estimate which was titled
2) On the project information screen when the estimate has been accepted
3) On the 'Appointments and Estimates' tab when viewing the list of all estimates written
4) In the Open Items box when an estimate is open
5) In the 'Projects' tab of the customer info screen

If you wish to have this title appear in your documents such as invoice, estimate, or work order, you may edit the templates and insert the 'Estimate Title' or 'Invoice Title' tag where appropiate for your use case.
