How to Map a Network Printer on MAC

  1. Go to "System
Preferences"
  • Select "Printers &
  • Scanners"
  • Click the "+" to
  • add a printer
    1. Select the IP tab
    2. In the "Address"
    field, add the IP
  • For "Protocol"
  • select "Line Printer Daemon - LPD"
  • In the "Name"
  • field, add the printer name (i.e. Main iR-ADV C5535)
  • In the "Location"
  • field, add the location (no required)
  • Under "Use" choose
  • the option "Select Printer Software…"
    1. Search for the
    appropriate driver
  • Click on "Add"
  • Test print - go to an
  • application and test print to verify functionality
